The time taken to redeem depends on the type of fund. Each fund has a different settlement timeline, which determines when the Mutual Fund company will transfer the money to you to complete the redeeming process.
Liquid funds -> T+1 working days
Debt funds -> T+2 working days
Equity funds -> T+3 working days
International funds -> T+5 or more working days
*where T is the date on which the order was approved.
