Your redemption request could be rejected due to one of the following reasons:

  • Request was for a higher number of MF Units than available.

  • You are trying to sell an ELSS before its lock-in period 

  • You are trying to sell your MF before receiving its allocation which generally takes 3-4 days post buying.

  • There is a minimum redemption quantity in that fund.

  • In some cases, the AMC may suspend redemptions or sales in some MFs due to temporary market volatility or liquidity concerns.


You can try selling the fund after some time has passed or try selling fewer units of the funds in any of the above cases. For any other discrepancy, get in touch with us at help@dhan.co
