During onboarding or KYC on Dhan, you may be prompted to enter your First, Middle and Last Name as shown below. Please note that First Name is mandatory.
Once you click "Proceed to Next", some users may see a different name than what they had entered. This is because irrespective of your name input, the name available on Income Tax Department (against your PAN) will be fetched and displayed to you. This name will also be sent to all exchanges and depository during your account creation.
If you want to change this name, please reach out to Income Tax Department and restart your PAN verification on Dhan.
